Hello! This is Atami Bay Resort Korakuen!
As I pass by the sea in Atami, I can smell the slight scent of the sea in the autumn breeze and feel the change of the season (^-^).
In a previous blog entry, we introduced the “Spa Zone” as the first of a three-part introduction to the attractions of OCEAN SPA Fuua, a Day-trip hot spring facility, and now we would like to introduce the “Atami Living” rest area!
Let me tell you about OCEAN SPA Fuua’s most popular relaxation space, Atami Living!
To begin with, “atami living” refers to the rest area after the hot water at OCEAN SPA Fuua!
The theme of this rest area is “villa life by the sea,” and it consists of eight different lounges and terraces, each with its own unique character to accommodate each visitor’s way of spending time.

The first thing you will notice in Atami Living is the Ocean Lounge, which overlooks the sea and sky. Beyond the large glass windows, the magnificent sea of Sagaminada and the cityscape of Atami spreads out, giving you a sense of openness as if you were floating in midair.
Feel the time flowing slowly and leisurely…
You will feel a moment when your heart is filled with contentment just by spending time quietly.
The beds in the Ocean Lounge are really comfortable and I hope you will experience them too…!

What do you think? Isn’t it irresistible? (**)
(I tried to take this picture to imagine how you look at it when you lie down lol)

In this “Central Lounge”, as in the Ocean Lounge, you can also enjoy the view from the large glass windows. (Or rather, it is a basic glass facility so that you can enjoy the view from anywhere!)
There are magazines and a “Fuua Café” attached to the building, where you can enjoy a drink or a small snack.
We also have a special “Shizuoka Beer Sake” available, so you can enjoy a glass after your bath…! You can also enjoy a glass after taking a bath…!
Other drinks include smoothies, which are especially popular among women!

The “Cliff Lounge,” with its colorful interior design inspired by a hilltop overlooking the ocean, has a slightly warm floor heating system that makes it easy to drift off to sleep.
There are also magazines and other items to help you relax and enjoy your stay.
By the way, if you lie down on the round bed in the middle, sleep is sure to be a breeze.

The “Portside Lounge,” inspired by the nostalgia of a Showa-era town, features a smart ball and other toys for a bit of fun. It is sure to be a lot of fun to play with friends and family!

To put it simply, the game is the same as air hockey, which is often found in game arcades, but the design has a somewhat futuristic feel to it.
The controls have a few quirks (the button in the middle is a handle, and you move it while spinning it around), and it is difficult to get used to… but once you get used to it, it is a lot of fun. Once you get used to it, it’s a lot of fun.
(It’s really addictive!)
Other restaurants include “engawa,” a stylish counter-style restaurant facing the sea

Danran” is a space with a relaxed Japanese taste and a sunken kotatsu.

nagomi” is inspired by a bird’s nest on a cliff

There are eight types in all, including Umikaze Terrace, a terrace that juts out into the sea, where you can feel the beauty of the Sagaminada Sea and the pleasant sea breeze!

Please visit them one by one and enjoy them to the fullest!
There are also two types of bedrock baths: “Laava” with a red theme and “Meressä” with a blue theme.
In a space with different temperatures and humidity, you can enjoy the comfort of being warmed from the core.

Incidentally, “Laava” is inspired by the volcanoes that form the foundation of the Izu Peninsula, while “Meressä” evokes the atmosphere of the ocean floor and the shimmering of the water.
The temperature is slightly higher in Rava and the humidity is slightly higher in Meressa.
By the way, Meressa has an aquarium where you can see cute fish!
Other recommended activities are “Pulista” and “Torkkua,” a new style of hot-spring bath proposed by OCEAN SPA Fuua!
Pulista” means “chatting” in Finnish. It is an open space with an image of a seaside meadow.

The grass is warm again, just the right amount of warmth that once you sit down, you won’t want to leave…. Enjoy relaxing and chatting with your friends!
Torkkua” means “doze” in Finnish, and the space has a soothing darkness and warmth that invites a comfortable snooze.

The big moon monument in the middle is wonderful!
Also, the Tolucca is like a napping space, if I may say so.
The bed that is placed there is very comfortable to sleep on… _(:3″∠)_
(I wish I had one for home…. I wish I had one for my home… lol)

What do you think? This form makes me sleepy….
I personally recommend it most at OCEAN SPA Fuua, so please experience this sleeping experience!
This is a brief introduction to “atami living”!
