Summer has begun in earnest and it’s getting hotter every day…!
Here in Atami, I see many people swimming in the sea, and I envy them every time I see them on my way to work….

Actually, Atami has a swimming pool as well as the ocean, so you can enjoy both!
Unlike the ocean, the pool is not sticky and doesn’t get sand on it, so it’s nice….

I don’t care whether it’s the ocean or a pool, I just want to cool off in the water today ^^)

But, if it’s this hot, you may be thinking, “I can’t go to the beach or the swimming pool! (For those of you who are not so inclined, I recommend Atami Korakuen Hotel’s Summer Vacation Event!

Atami Korakuen Hotel has a large convention hall, which is used for spacious events during the summer vacation period.
Children can play in a cool and air-conditioned space!

Not only guests but also day-trippers are welcome to play.
(Of course, you are welcome to come and visit us just for this event♪)

So, this time we would like to introduce the Atami Korakuen Hotel’s summer vacation events in a little more detail♪

Children and adults alike will get into it! Special game corner!

(Fee: 100 yen~)

First and foremost is the game corner! If there is a game corner in a hotel, you will always play it, won’t you?

In addition to the standard UFO Catcher, there are many arcade games and medal games available.

Even adults get hooked on these medal games, don’t they?

There is also air field hockey, which is sure to be a lot of fun if everyone plays together!

(2) Children are also safe! Kids’ Carnival

The second is a kids carnival that is great for children!
We have prepared a lot of indoor playground equipment for children to play! It’s quite hot outside in the summer, and you may worry about heat stroke when playing in the park…
This kids’ carnival is indoors and air-conditioned, so you can play in peace.

Children will love the fluffy balloons and the classic ball pool!

The main attraction is the air slide and trampoline!

The trampolines are made of transparent vinyl, so you can see the whole bottom and get a thrill out of it!
(I climbed up to take pictures, but it might be a little scary if you are not good at heights (; ・・・д・´))

The first time it has appeared in this exhibition! Digital Art Corner!

The game corner and kids’ carnival introduced earlier have been held as seasonal events during the GW and year-end and New Year holidays, but this digital art corner is making its first appearance!
Three types of activities are available: Digital Art Drawing, Digital Sandbox, and Mysterious World of Light (Photo Spot)!
Let me introduce each of them!

Digital Art Drawing

They move around on the screen as if their pictures are alive!
The simple operation of scanning a drawing into the scanner allows children from young to old to experience it.

By the way, I was allowed to draw some pictures as samples.

When you scan this, the picture you drew is projected on the screen as shown here, and it moves around!

Please try to make your illustrations move!

Digital Sandbox

You can dig holes and make mountains as if you were playing in the sand, and you can experience creating nature as you wish with your own hands, such as water coming out of holes and grass growing.

Personally, I was most impressed by this and felt that modern progress is amazing… (laughs). I was impressed by this… (laughs)

Isn’t it amazing? It goes like this…!

The Mysterious World of Hikari (Photo Spot)

You can take fantastic pictures with the three primary colors of color! Your shadow becomes colorful and very interesting ^^)
Please experience this mysterious photo spot that makes you feel as if you are in a colorful world!

You can make and learn! Craft Classroom

(300 yen for hotel guests / 600 yen for adults)

We have prepared simple crafts that are suitable for young children.
Using scissors and glue, you can enjoy creating three-dimensional works of art.
Not only is it fun to “make”, but there is also plenty of “learning” involved!

There are two books, “Let’s Make a Story of the Sea” and “Three Powers to Build Your Body,” both of which are highly recommended.
Since the content can be worked on together with parents and children, families are welcome to join us.

By the way, as you can see when you make it, it is more voluminous and challenging than you think (laughs).
