Suddenly, everyone! Have you already eaten watermelon this year?

Watermelon is a typical summer food, and when it’s this hot, you just want to eat it, don’t you?

The town of Kannami, located next to Atami, is actually famous for its watermelons, of which the watermelons from a place called Hirai are very famous.

Recently, I happened to be in the vicinity of Kannami when I visited a watermelon market in Hirai. I was so eager to eat watermelon because of the recent hot weather that I impulsively bought one of the watermelons at the market… (;^ω^)

I’m pretty sure that’s a lot of food to eat… I was so excited, but I wanted to try to buy one ball! I was overwhelmed by the desire to buy one ball (laugh).

It is also big in size, weighing in at about 6 kg (laughs).

Incidentally, I was a bit surprised to see many customers coming one after another to buy watermelons at the direct sales counter there!
It seems that many people buy them as gifts and send them to relatives and friends.

When I got home, I immediately cracked open a watermelon and tried it, and of course it tasted and smelled delicious, fresh and perfect for the hot summer!

But, as expected, the quantity was too much… The next day, I spent from morning to night in watermelon (laughs).

Next time I buy a watermelon, it should be a cut one, not a whole one… I thought that I would be better off if I bought a cut watermelon instead of a whole watermelon next time…

Now, when it comes to summer, not only watermelons, but also fireworks displays are events that cannot be missed!

This time, we would like to talk a little about the rooftop viewing seats that are available only during the summer (July to September) when the Atami Marine Fireworks Festival is held!

The Atami Korakuen Hotel offers a great view of the fireworks display from the Atami Korakuen Hotel, which is held throughout the year.

However, the sea-side rooms allow you to see the fireworks from your room, but the mountain-side rooms do not…

However, we want our guests to at least feel close to the fireworks, so we have opened the rooftop of the AQUA SQUARE for a limited time during the summer to guests staying in Courtyard Rooms on the mountain side! That is why we are opening the rooftop of the AQUA SQUARE to guests staying in Courtyard Rooms on the mountain side for a limited time during the summer to provide them with a view of the fireworks.

If you don’t want to stand and watch the fireworks, don’t worry! We have arranged chairs on the rooftop for you to sit and enjoy the fireworks while watching from your seats! We have chairs lined up on the rooftop where you can sit and watch the fireworks at your leisure.
