Hello! This is Atami Bay Resort Korakuen!

In my previous blog, I introduced the “Spa Zone” as the first part and “Atami Living” as the second part of a three-part introduction to the attractions of the OCEAN SPA Fuua day-trip hot spring facility. This time, we would like to introduce “Lowryu Camp”, which is one of Fuua’s most popular features!

(Sorry it has been so long since the last atami living section… LOL)

If you haven’t seen our blogs on “SpaZone” and “Atami Living” yet, please visit the links below and check them out! If you haven’t seen our blogs on “SpaZone” and “Atami Living,” please click on the links below and take a look!

With the recent sauna boom, “Lowryu” has become quite well known, but what exactly is “Lowryu”? Some of you may be wondering what it is, so I would like to introduce it to you!

Löylyu is a Finnish sauna bathing method in which aromatic water is poured over heated sauna stones and the steam (=löyly) is enjoyed. The steam rises at once, raising the body’s temperature and stimulating perspiration, which refreshes the body and mind.

The attraction of a hot spa is not only the heat, but also the aroma, the humidity, and the entire space.

(Personally, I have a little dream to experience an authentic Finnish wax at least once in my life lol)

OCEAN SPA Fuua’s “Lowryu Camp” is a more entertaining way to experience this type of experience!

This is a special program only available in Fuua for sauna lovers as well as those who do not usually take saunas (or those who are not good at it).

In a nutshell, “wax camp” is a “sensory” event that combines heat, sound, light, and fragrance, and is a new sensory experience original to Fuua that is slightly different from ordinary saunas.

Not only do you get to enjoy the heat and steam of the sauna, but the presentation in the lounge space before and after the waxing experience is also amazing!

In the sauna room, the lighting, sound, and even the aroma are all designed to create an “extraordinary” experience!

Another good point about the wax camp is that you can easily participate in it while wearing museum clothes.

It is also nice to know that even if you are taking a break from atami living, you can still participate in the program, so you don’t feel like you are on the threshold!

If you participate in a group or as a couple, you can share the time you experience together.

The heat wave masters send heat waves along with J-Pop and Western music, so even at the same wax camp, you can enjoy wondering what kind of music will be played next. This is a fun way to see what kind of music will be played next at the same wax camp. The appeal of this program is that first-time participants and even those who have come many times can enjoy the program with a fresh feeling each time!

Such a wax camp is held multiple times a day, divided into four sessions at 13:30, 15:30, 17:30, and 19:30.

Please make a reservation at the 3rd floor information desk on the day of the event to determine which session you would like to attend!

The number of participants at a time is limited, so early reservations are recommended on busy days!

Last but not least, even if you think sauna is a bit too much for you, you will surely discover a new way to enjoy yourself at Fuua’s Lowru Camp, where you can participate without leaving your house clothes on.

An experience that will make your stay in Fuua one step more special… We invite you to come and experience Lowru Camp for yourself!

So far, we have introduced the charms of OCEAN SPA Fuua in three articles: “Spa Zone,” “Atami Living,” and now “Lowru Camp!

The spa zone offers a sense of openness as if you are one with the ocean, atami living where you can relax at your leisure, and a wax camp where you can enjoy the spa with all five senses.
While each has its own unique charm, they are all connected by a single worldview of “extraordinary healing.

Whether you have not yet experienced Fuua or have used it several times, we hope you will discover once again how much you can enjoy Fuua!

When you visit Atami, please come to OCEAN SPA Fuua and spend a moment to relax your mind and body!

In Finland, which is a sauna powerhouse, there is something called “sauna diplomacy.” Saunas are built in Finnish embassies around the world, where politicians and diplomats sweat and discuss with invited guests. This is a unique feature of the sauna capital of Finland.

That’s all for now, just a little side note.
