Admission
What are your business hours?

10:00-22:00 (last admission at 21:00)

Is it by appointment only?

Reservations are not accepted. Please come directly to the museum.

Is there a time limit on how long I can stay in the building after I enter?

There are no restrictions on the hours of use, and you can relax from 10:00 to 22:00 (closing time).

On which days are you closed?

There are irregular closures due to facility maintenance. Please check the latest information for details

Can I enter with a child?

For safety reasons, children up to the age of three shall be refused entry
Children older than four and up to elementary school age must be accompanied by a guardian (aged 20 or older) of the same sex and are not to enter the bathing facilities of the other sex
For safety reasons, children are not permitted to use the following facilities: outdoor standing bath, outdoor free-flowing bath, observation sauna, Löyly Camp, bedrock baths, and Torkkua

Can high school students enter on their own?

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian (aged 20 or older)

Is entry free if I stay at Atami Korakuen Hotel?

Guests may use the room once per person per night. Please complete check-in procedures at Atami Korakuen Hotelbefore using this service.
Depending on the plan you are staying, you may not be entitled to the “OCEAN SPA Fuua” one-time entry benefit.

Is re-entry allowed after admission?

Once you leave, re-entry is not permitted
*Only the Harbor’s W restaurant allows guests to enter in their resort robe

Facilities
Are bath towels, etc. provided?

The fee includes bath towels, face towels, bedrock bath towels, and a special bathing gown.

*This is a rental.

*Please note that the following fees will apply for additional rentals.

Can I make reservations in advance for esthetics/body care/aca-suri/row-ruh in the hotel?

Reservations are not accepted before entering the museum. Please apply directly to the store after entering.

Do I need a swimsuit?

There is no area to wear swimsuits. (There is no swimming pool in the museum.)
Please note that swimsuits are not allowed in the museum.
If you are using a swimming pool or bathing beach at another facility, please change your clothes and remove sand before coming to the museum.

Is there a private room available for private use?

Private rest rooms and family baths are not available.

Can you see the fireworks from the building?

You can view the fireworks from the window side of the relaxation areas of Atami Living on the 3rd and 4th floors, from the Sea Breeze Terrace, and from the open-air bath areas on the 5th and 7th floors

Is there Wi-Fi available inside the building?

You can use wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) for free in the relaxation area of Atami Living on the 3rd and 4th floors

Are there any restaurants in the building?

You can access the Harbor’s W restaurant via the dedicated gate on the 2nd floor.
Please be sure to wear your resort robe

Please check in before 13:30, the last check-in time for customers using the [Lunch set at HARBOR’S W + OCEAN SPA Fuua] restaurant.

Light meals are also available at the Fuua Café on the 3rd floor

Can I wear my own clothes inside the building?

Please be sure to wear the resort robe provided to you upon entry
Please talk to a staff member if you have any special circumstances

Can I bring my own food and drink?

We ask that you refrain from doing so.

Can I smoke in the museum?

Smoking is not permitted in the entire building.
Please use the smoking room on the 3rd floor when smoking.

Can wheelchairs be used?

We provide wheelchairs to guests in need that can be used inside the building.
Please use the non-self-propelled wheelchair in the bath area and the self-propelled wheelchair for inside the building in other areas such as Atami Living on the 3rd and 4th floors and the hot spring changing rooms

*Please note that the number of both types of wheelchairs is limited
*A companion of the same gender is required when using the bath area
*Some facilities, such as the bedrock bath, cannot be used while in a wheelchair. Please contact us for more details

Can I use credit cards/electronic money for payment?

Access
Is there parking available?

There is a parking lot exclusively for day-trip guests. Please enter from the entrance of Atami Bay Resort Korakuen.

How much will parking cost?

500 yen (tax included) per car for the first 5 hours of spa use. (If you use the Spa Lunch Set, the fee is 500 yen (tax included)/vehicle for up to 7 hours.) Please bring your parking ticket and present it to the spa front desk. If you spend 2,000 yen (including tax) or more in the spa facilities, you can extend your stay for 2 hours, and if you spend 4,000 yen (including tax) or more, you can extend your stay for 4 hours. After that, the fee will be 500 yen per 30 minutes (tax included).

Is there a shuttle bus service?

A free shuttle bus runs between Atami Station and our facility.

Points to note

  • Children older than four and up to elementary school age must be accompanied by a guardian of the same sex and are not permitted to enter the bathing facilities of the other sex
    For safety reasons, children are not permitted to use the following facilities: outdoor standing bath, outdoor free-flowing bath, observation sauna, Löyly Camp, bedrock baths, and Torkkua
  • Persons with tattoos or body art (tattoos, paint, stickers, etc.), members of organized crime groups, members of other antisocial groups or persons recognized as related to such groups,
    and other persons deemed unsuitable to use our facilities are not allowed to enter.
  • Intoxicated persons, any person with dermatosis, or persons that may be carrying any other infectious disease shall be refused entry
  • Entry to the complex may be restricted in the event of extreme congestion
  • Nearby roads and car parks can become extremely congested on weekends, public holidays, days on which fireworks are scheduled, and during the busy summer season
    We recommend the use of public transport and the free shuttle bus during those times
